What are PHOSPHITES? How are they different from PHOSPHATES?

PHOSPHITES are a range of products derived from  Phosphorous  Acid (H3PO3). Whereas  PHOSPHATES  are  derivatives  of  Phosphoric  Acid (H3PO4).

PRODUCT APPLICATION
Potassium Phosphate Used primarilly in non-agro industries. Precipilates & Not easily taken up by the plants
Potassium Phosphite The real source of "P" and "K" for the plants

How do I use PHOSPHITES in various Crops/Plants?

CROP DOSAGE TIME AND METHOD OF APPLICATION TARGET DISEASES
Black Pepper 5ml/L
(2L per vine)
Pre  &  Post  Monsoon. Quick  Wilt.
Betel Vine 3ml/L Spray and drench at 10 days interval. Phytophthora Rot.
Cardamom 3ml/L Drench the clump, soil around the plant & spray overall. Soft  Rot.
Cucurbits 3 ml/L As soon as early symptoms of downy mildew are noticed. Repeat every 7 days till downy mildew diappears. Downy  Mildew.
Citrus 2 ml/L Pre & Post  Monsoon. Gummosis & Root  Rot fungi.
Coconut 3ml/L
(3L per plant)
Pre  &  Post  Monsoon. Bud  Rot  & Root  Rot fungi.
Grapes 5 ml/L   After  pruning  when  buds are  sprouted. Downy  Mildew.
Tomato 3 ml/L Potato   High  Humidity  &  Low Weather  Temp. Fruit  Rot. Buck  eye  Rot. Late Blight.
       

What are the Physical and Chemical  Properties of Phosphites ?

Chemical  Name Di Potassium Phosphite.
Appearance Clear Colorless Liquid.
pH ( 1% soln )  6.0 to 8.0
Active  Content 40% min.
